- A conservatively styled boat with a distinctive profile, the Silverton 40 Convertible was one of the lowest-priced sedan cruisers available in her class during the late 1980’s. She was clearly designed to appeal to the weekend cruiser market and came equipped with just about everything required for immediate use. She has a two-stateroom floorplan with the galley and dinette forward in the salon. A layout that required the galley sole to be sunken in order to have any headroom. There is a separate shower in the head. The cockpit is large enough for a couple of anglers, and the wide sidedecks make for easy foredeck access.
