The Grady-White 265 Express, which happens to be one of the best-looking 26-footers around, is a beamy offshore fisherman with a full array of fishing features as well as a family-friendly cabin layout. Like any Grady-White, the 265 is a quality boat and she’s the first true express model – i.e., narrow walk around decks rather than wide, deep walk arounds ever built by the company. The 265 rides on a deep-V hull whose generous 9-foot, 7-inch beam is exceptional for a 26-footer. Cockpit amenities include a tackle station with sink, a 40-gallon livewell, a huge 300-quart fish box and storage bins in the corners. Note that a fold-down motorwell bulkhead is aft. On the Bridgedeck, bench seats flank the centerline helm which has an overhead electronics box in the hardtop. The cabin of the 265 Express is surprisingly spacious and features a compact galley with refrigerator and stove, an enclosed head with shower, a wide V-berth and rod racks. This is a well-finished boat.
