One of the most popular big express yachts of recent years, the 400 Sundancer combines the bold styling common to all Sea Ray cruisers with the luxury-class appointments found in the best European sport yachts.  The Sundancer’s huge cockpit has wraparound lounge seating aft of the helm and a full-service wet bar to port, making it ideal for entertaining a large group.  Below, the spacious salon is dominated by a long crescent-shaped sofa to starboard and home-size galley to port with cherry cabinets, upright refrigerator, and granite counter.  Aft of the salon is a roomy mid-cabin area with a pocket door for privacy.  A walk-around island berth is in the forward stateroom, and the head compartment includes a separate stall shower.  The engine room is accessed via a power hatch with steps leading down to the machinery.  Built on a deep-V hull with prop pockets, the foredeck is slightly raised to provide more cabin headroom.  The bottom is balsa cored.
